How to start

Get the launcher. It installs the game and keeps it up to date.
Create an account and a character. Pick a body, a hairstyle and a build preset below — or spread the points yourself.
Talk to Guide Maren. The tutorial quest First Steps walks you through stats, your first hunt, skills, selling loot and your first weapon.
Hunt. Start in Greenreach Meadows; the deeper you walk from the portal, the stronger the monsters. When you are ready, the east portal leads to Thornwood Edge.

Build presets

At creation you spread 30 points over the six stats, at most 10 in one. These are the suggestions of the creation screen.
